trips daily from Tenby to the peaceful and beautiful
Caldy Island to see the monks at work or
just along the coast there are boat trips to Ramsey
Island, Skomer and Skogholm for the wildlife.

Lovers - Colby Woodland Garden at Amroth, Upton
Castle Gardens near Pembroke and not forgetting the wonderful
lily ponds at Bosherston on the Stackpole estate.
Pembrokeshire has many castles
to visit - Pembroke castle, Manobier castle and Carew
castle are all within easy reach. You can also visit the
tiny St Govans chapel in the rocks at Bosherston or a longer
trip will take you to the splendid cathedral at St Davids.
Golfers
will love the links course at Tenby. There is another newer
course at Trefloyne, just two miles from Brambles Lodge.
Any trip to the area must include the fabulous
beaches. Tenby has two large beaches in addition
to its picturesque
harbour. Just a few miles to the West there are
the warm sheltered beaches of Barafundle and Broadhaven

We are 700 yards from Penally Railway Station. A local bus
service stops outside the Guest House serving Tenby and Villages
to Haverfordwest. Timetable copies, telephone 01437 764551.
National Express coaches stop at Tenby (1.5 miles away) Enquiry
Line Telephone 08705 808080. Penally Taxi Service is a friendly
local service. Telephone 01834 849009. Brambles Lodge is set
back 20 yards from the public road, up a slight incline. Each
room has a car parking space at the rear of the building.
The car park is slightly rough and uneven. There is a single
step up into the building with contrasting nosing. (We are
investigation details of a suitable ramp to the step). The
property has a single leaf front door, 29 inches wide, with
security lock at 59 inches height. All internal doors are
self-closing fire doors. The ground floor is level throughout.
The dining room and Guest Lounge are on the ground floor.
There is currently no disabled access toilet. Internal doors
average 29inches width. All guest bedrooms are on the first
and second floors. Most shower cubicles have grab rails fitted.
There are 14 steps up to the first floor. A degree of colour
contrasting is being instigated during 2007. A hearing loop
is being fitted in the Guest Lounge. Additional lighting is
available on request. Tactile signage is being developed during
2007. · Information is available in clear 12-point print.
(Large print versions are being developed during 2007). Registered
guiding dogs are accepted. · Baggage assistance is available.
